Very pleased to recommend the service of Sam and his team at White Cliffs Landscaping.

Over two days they removed an area of hardstanding, excavated soil, built a retaining wall and moved ten tonnes of decorative stone to create an area within our garden that the wife and I are very pleased with.

Its rare these days to employ workman that actually work and my god did Sam and his team graft.

Sam provided a first class professional service. He gave us a clear and detailed quote and we are pleased with the finished fence. We have already recommended him to friends and will be using him again in the future.

We contacted Sam about laying some astroturf in our sloped garden. Other gardeners had said they could do this, but Sam advised due to the angle, the turf wouldn’t work long-term and it would be a waste of money. We decided together re-turfing would be the best option. He got back to us with the quote quickly, and was able to move the date for us when requested due to unforeseen circumstances. Whilst we were unable to go ahead with the work (no fault of the company at all!) Sam remained friendly and professional throughout all our communication with him, and I will be recommending him to anyone in my area who wishes to carry out any work in their garden!

I think Sam and the lads got more than they bargained for when they started the last phase of the jungle that was my garden, which is literally full of chalk! But bless them, they worked like trojans through the hottest of days with candid humour and camaraderie. They were all so good natured and easygoing that it made the whole experience better than I’d anticipated. Considering the work involved, I’m quite in awe that they still got it done in 5 days. Sam kept me fully informed when I was at work and was quick to respond to me. I am so impressed with how different my garden looks now, that they’ve unknowingly changed my attitude to what I want to use the space for now. We had an issue with birds nesting underneath our solar panels. the birds have gone and the solar panels been fenced securely. They even cleaned the muck away from the guttering and patio and took it away with them.

Sam and his team have completely transformed my back garden as it was so overgrown and somewhat neglected. Various trees were either removed, topped or reshaped giving the garden a more spacious look.
They also transformed the patio area and re-potted other smaller plants to make things more decorative. The garden looks double in size due to this revamp and I can’t thank Sam and his team enough for all their hard work. He promised me a time and date for the work to be carried out and even contacted me to see if this was still convenient for me 48hrs prior. His price for the work was also unbeatable for what had to be done. Would 100% recommend Sam and his team to anyone. Excellent price and top quality service.

Sam and his team transformed our sloping front garden. They erected a fence, top to bottom, in the worst weather conditions you can imagine. Then they built a terrace to help level the garden and topped it with large pebbles. The whole team were friendly, hard working and didn’t complain when things had to be changed. Both my wife and myself are very happy with the end result and would definitely have them back for any future work.

Sam and his team did a great job. They are professional and friendly, work very hard and the job, although large, was finished to time. It was a difficult job as it involved ripping out a large hedge, trees and roots and adding and levelling 10 tonnes of top soil, before putting in a new fence and laying a new lawn. We were looking to modernise our garden. We met and spoke with Sam and shared our ideas. Firstly Sam moved some previously used sleepers that were part of a unused wooden structure. They extended our borders and flower beds. Sam and Karl also removed a wooden structure for us, all this whilst it was snowing hard ! After their impressive work on the 1st project. We asked sam to build us a path, Through the existing lawn , down to the shed and green house. Sam and Karl helped us design the path, they fedback their ideas from a professional point of veiw. Sam quoted us a price and advised of the project and time lines. Kept us Advised of any costs or requirements. Sam,Karl, Bob and Will were polite throughout, always left the site clean ,tidy and safe after each day. Sam popped back after the garden was finished to ensure that were happy and advise if any repairs were needed after bedding in. In these uncertain times it was refreshing having quality trustworthy tradesman completing work and exceeded expectations. Would have no hesitation in recommending the team. Thanks guys . moved into our house about march time the garden was un safe and very much unfinished, we looked around for some time came across many companies that wanted a ridiculous price for what we was asking came across this company such a speedy reply, when I emailed asking for quotes Sam came round I told him my ideas he drew it up giving me some of his ideas as well which was fantastic very quickly received a quote and fixed a date they worked very well arrived on time each day no matter the weather and got it done in a very timely manner and kept me informed along the way so I was always in the loop even if I wasn’t there was updated regular very respectful of my home and my extremely fussy requirements couldn’t of asked for a better team to do my garden will be using for all future works defiantly recommend.

Sam has been cutting my grass for a few years now, always prompt, polite, and very tidy. Work is of a very high standard. Also placed railway sleepers in place of my old wall, a big job, but done to an excellent standard with all rubble cleared and no mess in just two days. An excellent job done in fencing and dog proofing our large back garden with posts, rails and stock fencing and gate. Same to smaller front garden as well as removing overgrown box hedge. All done within 3 days as originally quoted. Work is of a very high standard and Sam was great at communicating and ensuring everything was done as we wanted and to our satisfaction. Sam turned up on time, the work took about 2 hours to take down a 25foot palm tree. All of the tree was taken away, there was no damage done to the surrounding areas, as the tree was over hanging our conservatory.

Sam and his team demolished an old hen house, prepared a base for a shed, built raised beds and repaired a trellis arch. Communication from Sam was great-he updated us daily on progress and ensured we were happy with the job at every stage. A small amount of unforeseen costs arose which Sam discussed and agreed with us before they were incurred so they weren’t an unwelcome surprise at the end of the job. I really liked the fact that materials from the hen house were reused to reduce waste and keep the overall cost down. Sam and his team work exceptionally well on a very challenging decking build.
We asked for a platform for an office structure from a 60 degree bank incline. Sam came out, talked us through the entire process and double checked everything. Although a rocky start thanks to materials turning up late (got to love transport), his team worked non-stop to get the work done; Sam even stayed late, working through the rain to get the job finished on time.
The deck has a great ‘Centreparcs’ feel to it.
Nice team with heaps of professionalism.
